That video just broke me completely down into a puddle of tears. Parents! We must love our children as they are, just as we want to be loved and accepted. For this child to be in so much pain that he’s cutting himself in the 2nd grade is insane! I am thankful that he is still alive. Hurting people hurt others and it starts in the home. Let’s do a better job there and groom our children for success.
Amen Golda! I just kept watching this video in tears, wondering 1. What are the parents of this child doing to help him, or do they even know how much pain he is in, and 2. What are the parents of the bullies doing or not doing to foster this kind of mean spirit in their children? and 3. What can we as a society do to help educate our youth of the damaging effects of bullying?
